Each contributes their thread and making it a global endeavor.īut Noverte isn’t just an export they’re actively enriching their home soil as well. Their debut album is a patchwork of international support-produced by 12 different labels from Europe and Canada: No Funeral (Canada), Dischi Decenti (Italy), Dingleberry Records and Distributions (Germany), troppistruzzi (Italy), Nontiseguo (Italy), Boslevan Records (United Kingdom), 1a0 (Italy), Fresh Outbreak (Italy), Flames Don’t Judge (Italy), Salto Mortale Music (Slovakia), Entes Anomicos (Germany), Remorse Records (France). One of the intriguing facets of Noverte’s journey is their multinational web of collaborators. Each track acts as a tale of “pure realistic fantasy,” to borrow their words, straightforward and relentless, a mirror image of their sound. Their songs adopt lenses that magnify the world’s ailments, focusing on critiques of capitalism and patriarchy and introspections on mental health. The lyrical content arises from that same claustrophobic space where they first started-almost akin to a subterranean observatory. There, the band’s debut album, “Con uno sguardo solo” (With One Glance Only), was masterfully crafted. In collaboration with Mario Rizzotto of Pioggiadanza Produzioni, they hauled their emerging catalog of dissonant soundscapes to Trai Studio in Inzago, Milan.
